Szymon Wojciechowski - APA Wojciechowski Architekci
Anti-brittle architecture
Szymon Wojciechowski believes that there are two ways to meet the challenges posed by climate change to architecture and the construction industry.
One answer is circular economy and construction. Buildings are constructed for a defined period of time and after their technical death their substance is reused for other purposes. Another way leads in the opposite direction: we build for eternity.
In his presentation, Szymon Wojciechowski will share his vision of 'anti-cruel architecture'. Such architecture, through its diverse, fractal and polyphonic structure, has a chance not only to survive the frantic pace of change of the current digital revolution, but also to strengthen itself after collisions with all kinds of "black swans" lurking in the future.
